As a Personal shopper in London I see what’s out on the the shop floors each week , heres a quick run-down of what’s already on the shop floors this season for A/W 24/25

Get Your Highland Fling On

Tweeds, herringbones, and argyles are big for the colder months ahead. Mix a lovely chunky knit with a tweed skirt or checked trousers, and you’ve got the look. For an evening outfit, add a soft silk shirt to your plaids.

Feathers, Fur, and Fluff

From shaggy oversized collars to floor-sweeping feathered capes and the softest faux fur coats—very tactile, soft fabrics are everywhere and on everything! Just add a little bit of soft fluff, fur or a feather to any of your looks, and you’ll be on-trend straight away. It seems even footwear is having a furry moment too!

Bubble It

Bubble hemlines are very cool for Autumn Winter. A touch of a puffball hemline in my life makes me smile.

The Power of Leopard Print

I never get sick of this print; it’s always a joyous, fun winter classic. I’m sure we all have a little bit of leopard print inside us! Even a touch added to any outfit—a belt or a shoe—will do. We all love leopard print, Vogue confirms this

Leather is Everywhere

Leather is a massive power fabric this season, and it comes in the most amazing colour choices! Dresses, skirts, trousers—whatever the item, it will come in leather. The choice is endless on the shop floors. Even if it’s just an update of your leather jacket, there’s a great selection this season.

Waist Belts

Waist belts are the latest and possibly the easiest addition to your day-to-day wardrobe. I’ve started buying them again and adding them to my shopping list for all my clients; they can change a look instantly. Try to get a variation of belts in your wardrobe, as they really do make a difference to all your outfits.

Shine On

Fluid satins shimmer on our shop floors, adding an expensive feel to winter looks. This shiny fabric appears in various silhouettes, from dresses to power pajamas and skirts. With this one, I feel it’s better to invest in quality for that lavish feel.

Sheer Bliss

Anything sheer is back for our winter looks. Sheer pieces look great under any layer—a smart jacket, denim jacket, or leather one. Sheer works amazingly well with all these oversized knits too. I particularly like a sheer skirt with a cozy knit; that’s my natural go-to style. For the brave, there are so many sheer dresses out there too!

Other strong influences include being suited and booted, with lots of amazing, interesting tailoring around. The colour oxblood is everywhere, ski-inspired knits are big, and there’s lots of sparkle—glittery, tinsel-type clothing seems to be the new glitter! Florals are back again! Capes are the “IT” coat! And anything Boho is cool.

Take care get in touch if you need me! Stay stylish.
