The combat boot is chunky heavy looking, these Lora croft kick arse tough girl look boots are everywhere this season. Don’t just keep them for your winter walks they are to be worn with dresses and skirts also. I’m loving them with a Maxi dress for smart casual weekend looks.
The new silhouette I haven’t seen for a while is the square-toe boot, so it’s now hip to be square again – it’s all about boxy square -toe silhouette I can’t keep up!
The slouchy boot is having a moment – wrinkles in your boots are cool, this 80s throwback makes me happy!
The neat & sweet prim & proper Victorian boot has made an appearance also for winter – I always feel this can be a great choice for an elegant evening dress.
Sleek Knee-High Boots
Such an elegant boot and works with everything, always flattering and makes you feel warmer when putting a dress on in winter.
Shearling Lace-Up Boot
They appear most winters and I adore them for ski trips and when we get those icy, freezing days here.
Leather Ankle Boots
The good old leather ankle boot has been a favourite for a few years now with most of my Style Liberation clients, it puts a twist & edge on an outfit as soon as those summer days leave us, and the colder months hit.
This one is not for me, I just don’t feel right in them, but I do love the look when it’s done right – they can look amazing.
Western boot styles are here to stay – it’s one of my favourites and I’m happy it’s still going strong – great pictures in Stylist.
Whatever styles you pick this season, one thing is for sure we all do love a boot in winter to compliment whatever we are wearing.
